Read It: 4 tools to create Pinterest graphics
Let’s learn about some apps to create Pinterest graphics in this special extended episode of Graphics for Traffic in 60 Seconds.
Pretty much everyone knows about Canva, so I’m going to go over 4 other tools in this episode.
I’ll have each of them linked in the show notes, including some sponsored links, so you can easily them check out yourself.
First up is RelayThat. This is a design app that does all the heavy lifting for you after you set some default assets, as such brand colors, fonts, icons, and photos.
You then select from pre-designed Smart Layouts and RelayThat will use your assets to create the graphics for you.
The best part? Each Layout comes in multiple sizes, so you can create graphics for all your social media or ad sizes with a single click.
RelayThat is great for people who have no design experience or don’t really have time to learn how to design good graphics, but can also be a huge time-saving tool even if you do know about design.
For simple but elegant text-on-a-graphic, try Pablo by Buffer. This tool creates also graphics for Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram sizes in a single click.
You can also use it to create quote graphics fast by using built-in quotes or adding your own.
Photos with overlaid text often create really professional looking graphics, so that makes Pablo by Buffer a really powerful tool despite how simple it is.
Another graphics tool that I like is Visme. With Visme, you can create more than just social media graphics. It’s also built for infographics and presentations.
Since Infographics are pretty popular on Pinterest, this is a valuable tool to have in your arsenal.
Yes, you can create infographics in other apps, but the way the Visme editor is set up, you edit your infographics in sections so it’s easier to move those sections around if you decide you want to change their position.
For those of you who want more control over your graphics, there’s Gravit Designer.
This is a web or downloadable app that works more like a professional design tool but without all the extra really confusing features that you won’t even need.
If you’ve ever been frustrated by not being able to change the size of a border, would like to use a grid to line up your assets, or need a drop shadow to make those little printable page previews on your pin graphics not blend into each other, Gravit Designer will set you free.
There will be a bit of a learning curve but once you’ve got it figured out, you’ll be able to transition to almost any other graphics tool easily.
